Jersey is located near the coast of Normandy, France and is a self-governing dependency of the British Crown; Jersey is not part of the UK but is officially part of the British Islands with its own independent legal, and fiscal systems.


Being close to the UK, Jersey is part of the Common Travel Area. To make things simple before you travel, we’ve compiled everything you need to know before your visit.

Using your mobile phone

 

Can you use your mobile phone in Jersey?

You can use your mobile phone in Jersey; however, UK mobile networks do not extend to Jersey. UK mobile networks tend to class making a call in Jersey as making an international call.  

We recommend you check with your service provider for any information on charges for using your phone in Jersey.

Getting around
