Thanks to a donation from our Community Fund, St John volunteers in Guernsey now have brand new uniforms so they can carry out vital first aid duties at events taking place throughout the year.
These updated kits retain much of the traditional style but now feature unisex fits, press studs instead of Velcro, and lighter materials for added comfort in summer.
The uniforms are designed for layering, offering warmth with items like gilets, soft-shell jackets, and Hi-Vis outerwear. Volunteers Maggie, James, Isabelle, and Olly showcased the new attire last weekend at the St Peter Port Christmas Parade and lights switch on.
