The Eco Team at Guernsey’s Elizabeth College can now compost up to 200kg of food waste weekly, turning it into nutrient-rich fertiliser for green spaces.
Over the past few days, our dedicated crews have braved appalling weather to ensure essential freight supplies reached Guernsey and Jersey in time for Christmas.
Mustard Seed, the Jersey-based charity, has been spreading joy through sending shoeboxes filled with gifts and essentials to those in need in Eastern Europe for almost 30 years.

Brittany Ferries is ready to hit the ground running. The company says, following the approval of its licence by the States of Guernsey, it is charting a new course for Condor and the Island, starting with publication of its long-awaited summer 2025 schedule.
Condor is proud to support Jersey volunteers Bob de la Haye and Rhys Perkins, who recently drove an ambulance filled with medical supplies the 2,200km to Lviv, Ukraine as part of a 35-vehicle convoy.

Following a grant from our Community Fund, the Jersey Fortifications Study Group has installed signage at the WWII group personnel bunker located along the Five Mile Road in St Ouen, Jersey.

Brittany Ferries Mobilises to Replenish Jersey After Weather Disruption

Brittany Ferries’ vessel Barfleur arrived in Jersey just after 9 am this morning, delivering essential food and medical supplies to replenish stocks affected by recent weather disruptions.
Condor’s Community Fund has helped the 1st St Ouen Sea Scout Group in Jersey attend a Scouts Jamboree in Guernsey last weekend. This was the first jamboree held since 2021 and the group of 15 travelled across on Islander for an action packed adventure.
We were honoured to welcome a special guest aboard Commodore Clipper last weekend—Captain David Barker, the recently retired Harbour Master of St Peter Port.
Brittany Ferries has confirmed its intention to become the majority owner of Condor Ferries, pending approval from the Islands’ regulatory authorities, over the next few weeks.
This year’s Community Fund attracted more than 50 applications from across the Islands.
With an increased pot of £30,000 in 2024, we are excited to be helping 22 initiatives in Jersey and Guernsey.
Triathletes Seaena Silvester and Luke Holmes, who receive travel funding from Condor, excelled at the British Triathlon Super Series at Mallory Park on 29-30 June.

Condor schedules inter-island day trips to support Island rugby

In late April and earlier this month, we put on special day trips for the Junior Siam and Senior Siam, annual tournaments played by over 700 youngsters from the Guernsey Rugby Academy and Jersey Reds Minis & Juniors along with the senior men’s, women’s and colts.
I joined Condor a few months ago to help map out the future for the company, and am writing to tell you of some of the exciting changes taking place here.
