We were honoured to welcome a special guest aboard Commodore Clipper last weekend—Captain David Barker, the recently retired Harbour Master of St Peter Port.
Captain Barker, who enjoyed a distinguished career in both the Royal Navy and Merchant Navy, was travelling back to the UK with his wife after their time in Guernsey.
During their journey, the couple enjoyed a visit to the bridge, a complimentary meal in our à la carte restaurant and a special announcement as we sailed past one of his former ships in Portsmouth.
We wish Captain Barker all the best in his well-deserved retirement.
