Guernsey’s next generation of sports stars are receiving a boost — thanks to the return of a travel bursary backed by Brittany Ferries and the Guernsey Sports Commission.
Triathletes, karters, cyclists, horse riders and others now have greater opportunities to attend competitions, trials and training sessions in the UK and France – with ferry travel covered as part of the initiative.
Young athletes aged 13-23 from any sport can apply – especially those who need to travel with equipment or vehicles. The Guernsey Sports Commission carefully selects recipients based on potential and need.
